Gistiheimilið Reynir (Reynir pension) is a family company situated at the farm Reynir in Reynishverfi. We aim to offer our gests clean and cosy acommodation in a great location. Gistiheimlilið Reynir (Reynir pension) consists of four one bedroom houses which all come with an astonishing view over the beautiful black beach an Dyrhólaey. All the rooms have two made up beds, each 90cm in width. It is however possible to add one extra bed or a crib to the room. All the rooms have a toilet with a sink. In the summer of 2014 we opened a new 280 sqm structure which consists of 6 twin bed rooms and 2 six person family rooms. In the building there are 2 restrooms, 3 shower rooms, kitchen facilities with a dining room and a sitting area facing Dyhólaey. All rooms come with a sink. The surrounding area is quite unique. From the window of your room you have a great view of the famous Island Dyrhólaey, the bech and the ocean. The sourroundings also offers you a glacier view. The area is perfect for walking. Reynisfjara (Reynis beach) where a new restaurant opens the summer of 2014 and Reynisfjall (Reynis mountain) both well known tourist locations are part of the surroundings. If go up to the mountain you will be able to see the puffin and get a fantastic view of the region known for its contrasts: glaciers in the north, the ocean in the south and surrounding green pastures torn apart by black deserts to east and west.
